Chileans are not male-chauvinists, not in comparison to Americans. I've lived in the States for a while and they tend to make much more difference between the activities that are manly and those which are not in comparison to Chileans. That is just a myth. A proof of this is we have a female president and you don't.

I don't know much about this country either but here's what I can tell you. It's a state in Southern America and its' capital city is Santiago de Chile. It's a long and narrow country located between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. It borders Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. Most Chileans have Spanish ancestry. Southern Chile is rich in forests, volcanoes and lakes. The southern coast is a labyrinth of fjords, canals and islands.
