The opposite of sin is not virtue- but grace.
Hello Patchboy,

The opposite of SIN [transgression] is obviously OBEDIENCE. To sin is to dis-obey, to not sih is therefore to be obedient to. To 'commit' sin is to act in transgression, act in disobedience. Therefore to NOT SIN IS TO OBEY.

If to sin is to : breach, contravene, desecrate, disobey, err, do evil, commiot an infraction or infringement, violate, do wrong, breach the law, AND PUT SUCCINCTLY : TO OFFEND , THEN OBVIOUSLY TO SIN IS TO PLEASE, AND THAT IS THE OUTCOME OF OBEYING, OF NOT TRANSGRESSING. HYPOTHETICALLY, iF I COMMIT ADULTERY, I OFFEND MY WIFE BECAUSE I TRANSGRESS THE MORAL LAW OF HONOURING HER LOVE, OUR MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP. I BREAK THE FAITH. TO ENCAPSULATE: SIN IS TO OFFEND, TO TRANGRESS.THE OPPOSITE IS TO OBEY, TO PLEASE.

PHEW! THAT'S ABOUT ALL I COULD DIG UP RIGHT NOW, AND LET ME TELL YOU CHUM, YOU ALMOST HAD ME COMMITTING SIN......SMILE, THERE ARE TOO MANY MOROSE GUYS LIKE ME SURFING THE WEB. HOPE I SHED SOME LIGHT.. AND HOPE THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT ! HAH! 'BYE MATE.
