I work in cytogenetics too. I found this forum while I was looking for a new job to apply to. Why did you change your field from molecular?

Hi,

I had to change my field ´cause I had no other possibility. I worked in private company for two months, but I didn´t like it. I decided to left immediatelly and I had to find another job. But I always wanted to join this lab. Leader of our lab is quite well-known Prof. Kyra Michalova, maybe you know her. But my molecular experience is not lost, I started here DNA isolation and CGH and we are preparing for microarrays so...everything is connected:-)) The advantage of being molecular biologist is that you can apply for job in almost every lab:-))Bye
