Hello,

I wonder if you could help me with this:

I know that a certain hospital employs some people from abroad but I don't know if these are doctors, nurses, drivers etc. Now, I need a simple question to ask the manager of that hospital to find out. Would it be OK to ask:

"What kind of foreign employees work in your hospital?" or "What foreign employees work in your hospital?" or something completely different?

Looking forward to any suggestions.

Hi,

"What kind of foreign employees work in your hospital?" Usually nice ones.

"What foreign employees work in your hospital?" Well, there's Fred in the office, and the three Pakistani women in the Emergency Dept.

To get the kind of answer you want, you need to ask something about their jobs.

eg What jobs do foreign workers have in your hospital?

Best wishes, Clive
