I have a couple of different things that I would like to include after I sign this formal letter:

1) show that it was not written by me (ie: ABC/def)

2) note enlcosures

3) note that the letter was sent to another recipient as well

Please correct if this is wrong (or let me know if I got it right!)

ABC/def

Enclosures

cc: John Doe

Thanks!
1) - If you are signing someone else's letter then you should sign your own signature but the typed name etc will be theirs, and you should add 'pp' next to your signature.

2) It's acceptable to abreviate to enc: or encs: (plural) and then you briefly list the enclosures. For example enc: CV.

3) Yes, cc is correct, but this is usually put at the top of the letter.
Nona The Brit3) Yes, cc is correct, but this is usually put at the top of the letter.

I've always done ccs at the bottom. You can also write - copy: John Doe
Site Hint: Check out our list of pronunciation videos.
I assume the 'pp' is handwritten/signed? In addition, what does the 'pp' stand for?
You can type it or handwrite it. Either is fine.

pp = per procurationem (by agency)

Well done
