Hello all.

I am translating an old Russian adventure for ZX Spectrum (Pentagon), which is called «Star Heritage». You might have heard of the new remake of this game (for PC).

If I post here the whole translation, will you help me debug it?

If not, I'll have to ask a lot of small questions about various problems I encounter...

Of course, this is a non-commerical amateur project.

The english version of the game comes as a bonus Emotion: smile

P.S.: The draft translation is not to be finished soon: now I have a hard time at the university: summer examinations and stuff...

Hi,

We'll certainly try to help.

Personally, I prefer a small number of specific questions per post. You might find that you'll get more responses that way.

You could do that, and then maybe post the draft later for what I hope would be a quick review.

You'll also probably get more replies if you promise to name characters in the game after the people who respond.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you very much. I'll keep it in mind.

I am not creating a game, I am just translating it. How dare I change the original character names?

Even if I had been wriring my own adventure, I would in no way use the responders' names...

Can you imagine a writer using his publisher's name for the main character?
Hi,

Don't worry about it, it was just my little attempt at humour.

Clive
Of course, I didn't worry about that...

As I promised, posting a link to the game .

Comments concerning the translation and questions about running the game in an emulator are welcome. If the latter ones are off-topic, please advice where to create an appropriate thread. It would be a tad inconvenient to have two separate threads...
