Guys guys guys, you make me admire yourselves with your pictures.

To Ruslana, you are really good at taking photos.

To CB, you are as good as Ruslana. I really wonder how they can be so colourful!

And to CB again: What is that small ship doing in the church in the 8th photo? And I wonder the yellow star-like emblem too.

Thank you, Doll! Unfortunately I know nothing about the decorations in the church. The door was open and I just walked in to take a look and a few pictures.

Thanks, Doll! [f]
Some great pictures here, well done.

You're all safe from my efforts as I don't seem to be able to post anything.

Well done, again. I look forward to seeing some more.

Regards.

There are instructions at the top of the "Photos of the Clan!" page. It tells you what type of images are supported. You need to have Java installed on your computer as well. When you have done that, go to EDIT PROFILE / SITE OPTIONS (or something similar) and select ADVANCED EDITOR. Save the change at the bottom of the page and refresh the page using your browser's REFRESH button. This makes the change take effect immediately and you won't have to wait ten minutes.
You can now upload pictures from your computer by clicking on the paper clip symbol. As the upload window opens, click on BROWSE and go to your pictures. Uploading the first picture may take a while, the next ones come faster. When you have finished uploading pictures, click anywhere to close the upload window.
There are two ways in which you can add text below the pictures. The simplest way is to just write between the addresses of the pictures, which are left-aligned in the editor. The other way is to delete the text WRITE DESCRIPTION HERE (I'm not sure about the exact wording) and write there. You need not delete the text. It won't show below the picture if you do nothing to it.

Thanks very very much CB. I have tried many times before without success. I followed your instructions to the letter and it's working. Thanks again.

You're welcome, optilang! [Y] I look forward to seing more of your pictures. By the way, you'll soon notice that the Advanced Editor has some drawbacks as well. For example, if you quote a post and try to delete part of it, that won't work! I only use the Advanced Editor to upload pictures. So, here are a few I took yesterday.

Boats:

Old sailboats.

A cargo ship.

The Symphony and its identical twin the Serenade cruise between Helsinki and Stockholm daily. They depart about 6 o'clock and arrive in their destination the next morning. There are 14 decks on the boat.

A small boat that sails between the Market Square and the Suomenlinna fortress.

This boat is coming from Tallinn. I don't know how many boats cruise between the two cities but there are probably 15 to 20 departures from each city every day.
Another boat from Helsinki to Stockholm. The Mariella is smaller than the Symphony. Daily departures.

Cheers, CB

Something is wrong! I tried to upload six pictures but only two were posted. When I tried to reload the missing four pictures, no pictures appeared even though everything seemed to work normally till the very end.

It's probably my fault for finally succeeding with my post.
