When will the film start?

Is it correct sentence?

I think it is wrong. Because film doesn't start by itself. It should be started by someone else. so, the sentence should be "When the film will be started?"

I am right or wrong?

rjaWhen will the film start?
That is fine; it is 'will be started' that is not used.

Films, sales, cars and games all start.
