In my part of the world, our education follows like this "Jr. Kg, Sr. Kg, 1st standard, 2nd standard, 3rd standard, 4th standard, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, (degree courses)". A child with 3 years old enrolls for Jr. KG and 4 years old child will be in Sr. KG, 5 years old child would be in 1st standard, and so on.

In case if I want to ask someone, who is a student, that which class he/she is studying. How shall I ask that?

Here are some of my guesses :
(1) Which class are you studying?
(2) Which standard are you studying?
(3) Which class are you in?
(4) Which standard are you in?
(5) What are you studying?

And the answers might be like the followings :
(1) I'm in Jr.KG/Sr.KG/1st standard/2nd standard/3rd standard, etc.
(2) I'm in Jr. KG class.
(3) I'm in 1st class. I'm in 2nd class. I'm in 3rd class. I'm in fourth class.

Please help me with this.
