Acknowledge your son? There is some doubt whether he is your son? He is claiming he's your son, and you need to verify his claim?

I don't understand this use of the verb "acknowledge". It's possible that you need a different way to say this.

(The grammar is OK in either sentence, however. Sentence 2 has the advantage of being more succinct.)

The meaning of this sentence is perplexing, at least not clear. What do you mean by "acknowledge"? Without additional context, it is difficult for people to help you. Do you mean " recognize"?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. I am learning on the positioning of words to make a sentence succinct.

The complete sentence should be: ....son, Jomar, upcoming excursions through PAM.

Site Hint: Check out our list of pronunciation videos.

So it's

I have been requested by email to acknowledge my son, Jomar, upcoming excursions through PAM.

I'm sorry, but that makes it worse. I don't understand what you added. And what's PAM?

CJ

PAM is my son's school website page, where I would log in and give my consent to their excursions.

OK. That's like this:

I have been requested by email to give my consent through PAM for my son Jomar to participate in upcoming excursions.
