Hi guys,

What was the worst was that he found himself unable to ask for help-- his mobile phone went out of ____ as a result of exhausted battery.
A. service B. way C. order D. work

Of these choices, choose A.

We don't consider something 'out of order' if it simply needs a new battery. ( Nor do we consider it 'broken'. )

A more natural thing to say 'is 'eg His phone battery went dead'.

I think the question was not well conceived.
wangqh2696122his mobile phone went out of ____ as a result of exhausted battery.
In natural English, none of the provided answer is suitable in my opinion: A. service B. way C. order D. work
Just say " because his cell phone battery went dead".
CliveOf these choices, choose A.
I was confused in that part as I thought that service would refer to the mobile tower service provided by data providers. We say sometimes like: There isn't any tower here. I thought out of service would to this service.

It's a common term over here. Is it the same over there too?
