The use of "whose" for inanimate objects is a much-debated topic. Many authorities say it's fine; some people seem to quibble about it. I personally find your sentence tolerable but awkward (awkward from a combination of factors, not just the use of "whose"). Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an elegant one-sentence alternative.
