I think the reason is: guests can be either members (=registered users) not logged in, or non members (=persons who never joined the forums).
Therefore, if you are a member from XYZ* and you are logged in, you will not be counted among guests.
Moreover, if there are no guests from XYZ browsing the forums at (about) the same time you are checking the list of the countries, the name XYZ will not be shown.

Another possible explanation: guests from XYZ might be counted among "unknown".

Not sure, though Emotion: smile

this is what i guess.

thanks Tanit for help.

so

the admins of this lovely forum must add egypt to the list

cuz we are not unknown
Teachers: We supply a list of EFL job vacancies
Egypt is on the list.

The countries only show up when there is a guest from that country here. If you are a registered user, you don't show up in the 'guest' count; that is for unregistered people only. If you are a registered user, your name appears, not your country. I guess you just haven't visited here at the same time as an unregistered person from Egypt yet.
Thank u Nona for your help.

but this means that when i sign out , the forum must display egypt among the guests' countries.

but it does not.

I signed out several times and nothing happened.

Is there a Real List ??
Hi! It depends on your IP anyway, for example I'm writing from Italy, but my IP is usually an 'Unknown', so if I logged out, I would appear as Guest (Unknown). A friend of mine, who's from Egypt like you, has got an Unknown IP address as well.
Maybe the explanantion could be that your IP address is Unknown, and you appear as Unknown guest when logged out? Emotion: smile
I hope that this could be the answer to your doubts!
Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?
