Why is Julius Caesar, Roman military and political leader, so popular? Would you please summarise his feats, if he had any?
Hi,
allow me to give you this answer. It's something I'm convinced is true, and I always say when I'm asked about history:
Jackson6612Why is Julius Caesar, Roman military and political leader, so popular?

Simple: because teachers force you to learn about him. If it wasn't for school, most people would not know him, because most people couldn't care less.

That's true, think about it Emotion: smile
I am not at all sure that "popular" is the right word. "Famous" or "notorious" are closer. He was the first Emperor of Rome following several centuries of the Republic, a very notable soldier and general, and a leading politician.

What's the difference between "popular" and "famous", anyway?

Here's the broad idea.

popular Many people like you. Usually only used to describe people who are alive.

famous Many people know about you. You may or may not be dead.
