Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Would you check them, please?

No. 1

M: Did you buy your mom a gold necklace you'd mentioned before?

F: She has [ had ] long wanted it, but it had sold out.

M: So what are you going to buy, instead?

F: I'm wondering what is good for her.

No. 2

M: Aren't those usually about 8 dollars each?

F: Right, but they were 20 dollars off if I buy them by the dozen.

So I got a dozen.

M: But ... it will cost us at least a year to use them up.

Thank you. kenta
