I want to study on the subject thoroughly to start my own project.

I would like to know the sentence is grammatically correct and meaningful.

anonymousI want to study on the subject thoroughly to start my own project.

Remove "on".

You might consider "so that I can start" instead of just "to start".

Otherwise, fine.

I'm just trying. I'd say:

-I want to study the subject thoroughly to start my own project.

or

-I want to study the project thoroughly before starting it.

In fact, I don't remember that I've ever used the adverb 'thoroughly', so I'm not sure of its usage there.
