Topic: Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid.

It is true that there is an increasing number of privileged countries which have made numerous donations to developing countries in need. However, it is said that the problem of poverty has not been solved thoroughly. Therefore, instead of financial assistance, underprivileged nations should be given other forms of support. From my perspective, I strongly concur with the latter statement.

It is widely believed that most of the financial support from wealthy countries as well as nonprofit organizations is not usually received by the needy, but national authorities who are blamed for profiting from the funds. Donations from developed countries, for example, have not been reached to the poor and blue-collar workers in developing countries. As a result, poverty-stricken people don’t have an opportunity to have access to a well organized and qualified educational systems. Futhermore, even if the support reaches the needy, it is merely temporary solution to meet the demand of some poor countries. It is worth considering that in a country that is desperately impoverished, money would only improve its financial status. Consequently, that country don’t have enough resources in education and industry to have a significant development in the future.

Looking further, other methods of assistance which include building educational institutions and health-care facilities would grant developing countries an opportunity to have long term objectives and results. Educational investment, for instance, is one way that would help to broaden the horizon of young generations. In addition, people in impoverished nations will gain tremendous advantage from medical systems of privileged nations.

In conclusion, although giving money to underprivileged countries is beneficial in some cases, other methods of support such as investment in health care and education would stand a higher chance to have a further advancement.
