HI, can anyone please help me with my piece of writing for task 1 ielts? Thank you so much.

The bar chart illustrates the proportion of computer owners at different education levels in 2002 and 2010. Overall, it is clear that the higher the education level was, the higher the percentage of computer ownership was. Additionally, after 8 years, the rate of people who owned a computer experienced an upward trend for all education levels.

As can be seen from the graph, only over 10% of people without high school diploma owned a computer in 2002. This figure then increased almost 3.5 times in 2010, reaching around 42%. Similarly, in 2002, the percentages of high school graduates and college students who had a computer were 38% and 55% in turn, before rising tremendously to approximately 70% for the former and 85% for the latter 8 years later.

Regarding people with a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification, there was also a growth in the percentages of computer ownership after the eight-year period, rising from 70% to 90% and from 75% to just slightly above 90%, respectively.

Hi, thank you so much. I just added a picture as you instructed. I'd really appreciate if you could help with the essay.

I previously attached an image but I don't know why it did not show up in the post.

The bar chart compares / gives / plots illustrates the proportion of computer owners people who own a computer for at different education levels in 2002 and 2010. (How many levels are there? What are they. Your paragraph is not complete. You have changed paragraph topics. You must start a new paragraph) Overall, it is clear that the higher the education level was, the higher the percentage of computer ownership was. Additionally, after 8 years, eight years later, the rate (wrong word - read my advice) of people who owned a computer experienced (Numbers do not have experiences!) an upward trended higher for all education levels.

As can be seen from the graph, (Non-productive words. Delete. Also, it is a chart.) only over 10% (20% is over 10% and so is 40 or 50%. You need to be more specific.) of people without a high school diploma owned a computer in 2002. This figure (wrong word) then increased by a factor of almost 3.5 times in 2010, reaching around 42%. Similarly, in 2002, the percentages of high school graduates and college students who had a computer were 38% and 55% in turn, before rising tremendously (wrong word) to approximately 70% for the former and 85% for the latter 8 years later.

Regarding people with a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification, there was also a growth in the percentages of computer ownership after the eight-year period, (you do not need to keep repeating this. You mentioned the two time points in the first paragraph.) rising from 70% to 90% and from 75% to just slightly above 90%, respectively.
