Some people like to keep a record of their own experiences by uploading pictures and other information to social-networking sites. Other people prefer not to create such records. Which approach do you prefer, and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Some people are keen on uploading pictures and other information on social media as a record of their own experiences, whereas some people do not enjoy doing that. I would prefer the former because doing that enables people to reinforce the connection with other people and also motivate them to make a further step in life.
To begin with, many people use social media to share their information and also upload pictures so that they can strengthen their bond with each other. Take me as an example. I normally upload many pictures about my trips and also other activities on my Facebook page - a social networking site. Doing this would allow everyone to keep informed with my life and help me connect with people having in common. On the contrary, if people do not upload any information about them online, others cannot know exactly about their characteristics and so they cannot maintain a closed connection with others.
Furthermore, keeping a record of their own experiences through pictures and other information on social media will encourage others to move forward in life. For instance, many people who have graduated from prestigious universities such as Harvard, Stanford, and Yale tend to upload their academic achievements and other contributions to society on social media as a reminder of what they have done in life. This inspires other people, having similar ambitions to make more efforts so that they can accomplish in their lives. Meanwhile, those who have not made any specific record of their own experience on social media, cannot create any similar motivational drive for others and also for themselves.
To sum up, I believe that recording their own experience by uploading pictures and other information would be more beneficial for everyone rather than not doing so on social media. This can help everyone stay current with each other’s social life, which would glue the relationships together. Also, many people inspired by others’ experiences and contributions would have more courage to achieve their ambitious goals.

Initially, uploading pictures and other information to social networking sites can share our experiences with others to help or encourage others. Set me as an example, after going to restaurants, I will post some pictures and comments about the food, environment, and service quality of this restaurant. Such as “Burger King” have a good beef burger and “KFC” have good field chicken. By posting these restaurants’ information, I can help people find their favorite restaurants. In addition, I share my successful experiences sometimes in order to encourage others. For example, in order to have a good project grade, I stay up late, spend more time on it, ask others’ opinions and look up information from websites. Finally, I got an “A” for that project which encourage people to pay effort into their schoolwork.
Moreover, posting pictures and other information on social media can help us know more online friends who have the same interests as us. An illustrating example is me. I always post some of my basketball practice videos and some “NBA” basketball players' posts. Therefore, more and more people follow me and we always talk about basketball skills and some NBA games. Obviously, I enjoy the conversation with them to share some things about basketball with each other. Furthermore, we always watch playoff games and the final game online together. Clearly, we can meet lots of friends who have the same interests as us by uploading pictures and other information to social media.
Granted, some people prefer not to create such records. Because it will waste our time to take photos and edit the text before posting. However, it will not waste so much time by using some fast and convenient ways from social networking sites. Because some of them can help you edit texts and some current templates you can use. Therefore, it will not waste so much time to edit our posts.
To recap, uploading pictures and other information to social networking sites have so many advantages. For one thing, sharing our experiences with others helps or encourages others. For another, we can expand our social circle which can help us make more friends who have similar interests to us.
