The line graph compares the amount of fruit production by different nations which are France, Spain, Germany, and Turkey between 1970 to 2010. Overall, Spain and Germany tended to decrease their fruit production while the fruit output in Turkey and France had an upward trend. At first, Spain was the country that produced the highest fruit production compared to others.

It is clear that, in 1970, the figure for Spain was 5.8 million tonnes of fruit production compared to 2,5million in Germany. From 1970 to 1990, the fruit output in Spain increased and reach a peak at 6,2million tonnes before decreasing. The amount of fruit produced by Germany dropped significantly to 1,2 million tonnes.

In 1970, Turkey supplied 2 million tonnes of fruit production while France just produced around 1.1 million tonnes. 20 years later, the figure for Turkey rose gradually to 2,5million tonnes. The fruit production in France almost remained stable from 1970 to 1980 before increasing significantly to 2 million tonnes in 1990.

Between 1990 and 2010, in Spain, the figure fell to 5 million and in Germany, the figure decreased to 1 million tonnes and was surpassed by Turkey and France. By contrast, the fruit production of Turkey rose gradually to 3 million tonnes and the fruit production in France has fluctuated range from 2 to 2.3 million tonnes.
