What does "you obviously dig abuse" really mean?
In Brazzilbrief Macunaima tells X4D:
"...As for me, from now on, I'm just going to presume that you're a joke. You obviously dig abuse and I'm not to proud enough to refrain from dishing it out if that's what makes your little willy get all chubby. Maybe - just perhaps - if folks around here rub your nose in what a pathetic little angry wanker you are, you'll get off your fat Israeli ass, do some excercise, work some of those bad chemicals out of your brain and let nature take its course. Who knows: you might even get laid!
So hang out here as long as you want, Mr. Emo! I'll keep dishing 'em up, just like I see them and you obviously dig the abuse, so that makes us both happy, neh?"

"to dig" something is 1960s hippy slang for "to like" or "to enjoy" or "to appreciate". So it means, "You obviously like being abused".

I think it's the fairly well-known usage from the '50s or '60s, meaning "like" "enjoy" or "appreciate".

What does "you obviously dig abuse" really mean?

You enjoy being insulted.
From the passage I assume that the abuse is mainly verbal, hence "insult".
